RAFFLE RULES

The Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads, VA

First Prize:  1966 Mustang Convertible or $20,000.00

Second and Third Prizes:  $500.00

 With purchase of a raffle ticket, the purchaser agrees to all rules of the raffle. The Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads, VA Raffle Rules are available for viewing at bxrrotary.org.  

1. You must be 18 years or older to participate. Ineligible entrants will be refunded any funds paid.
2. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Raffle tickets are $25.00 each or 5 tickets for $100.00. Ticket purchases are non-refundable and not eligible for charitable tax deduction.
4. There is no limit to the number of tickets one person may purchase. Number of tickets to print and sell is established on an annual basis.
5. Ticket purchase can be by cash, check, money order, or credit card. Checks or money orders made payable to “Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club” or “BXRC”. Credit card information as required by credit card company. 
6. Requests for tickets to purchase can be mailed to The Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads, PO Box 1510, Falls Church, VA 22041 or may be made by the online ticket purchase link provided at the website bxrrotary.org.
7. Purchaser information includes: Name, Address, Phone Number and Email address when possible.  This must be printed legible on each ticket stub.
8. If more than one name is listed on the ticket stub, the first name listed will be considered the entrant.
9. If an entrant’s check or credit card is dishonored by the bank or credit card company, the entry ticket(s) will be voided and not placed in the raffle drawing.
10. Entrant shall retain his/her ticket. In the event of any dispute or controversy concerning the winner of the drawing, entrant will be required to produce his/her raffle ticket.
11. All ticket stubs MUST be received by the Raffle Managers prior to the drawing at 11:00 am on November 11, 2024 to be eligible for the drawing. Winner does not have to be present to win.
12. The winner will be determined by a random drawing on November 11, 2024 at 11:11am at the American Legion Post 176 Springfield, 6520 Amherst Avenue, Springfield, VA 22150. Three tickets will be drawn:
    1. The first ticket drawn will be the winner of the 1966 Mustang Convertible or $20,000.00 (the entrant has the option to select either the car or the money).
    2. The second and third tickets drawn will receive a prize of $500.00.
13. If the 1966 Mustang Convertible cannot be delivered to the winner due to unavoidable circumstances, g., damaged due to automobile accident, destroyed by fire, theft, etc., the first prize winner will receive the $20,000 cash prize in lieu of the 1966 Mustang Convertible.
14. If not present, the first prize winner will be notified by immediate phone call and, if necessary, by registered mail. Second and third prize winners will be notified by mail. The winner’s name and winning ticket number will be posted at the website for the Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads, bxrrotary.org.  If the prize is unclaimed after 30 days, the first ticket drawn will be voided and the prize will be awarded to the second prize winner.
15. The winner is responsible for all delivery, licensing, registration, insurance coverage, income, or special taxes.
16. The Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads, VA, specifically disclaims all express or implied warranted regarding the 1966 Mustang Convertible. Winner accepts car in “as is” condition.
17. All proceeds, less the prizes and expenses, shall be used to benefit charitable programs supported by the Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads. A list of supported charities is available at bxrrotary.org/raffle.
18. This raffle is registered in and licensed by the State of Virginia.
